Founder of the firm in 1966. Jerry passed away in July of 2008, at the age of 73. Along with his duties as senior officer of Gerald Nell Inc., Jerry was the managing partner of six commercial and industrial property investment companies that own over two million square feet of office, warehouse, and industrial space available for lease.
He was personally responsible for over 1,000 construction projects in the metropolitan Milwaukee area. A few of the representative projects are the Ameritech Training Center, Waukesha; MATC North Campus, Mequon; Prairie Place Office Center, Pewaukee; Sunset-Gateway Center, Brookfield; E.F. Brewer Co., Menomonee Falls; and numerous office and multi-tenant facilities for private development purposes in metropolitan Milwaukee.
Jerry left a legacy of determination, honesty, and professionalism that is the foundation of Gerald Nell Inc.
President and Owner of Gerald Nell Inc., holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Financial Management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mike has been with the company for over 30 years and is responsible for design-build construction and real estate development, project management, and daily operations of Gerald Nell Inc.

Vice President of Real Estate and Certified Property Manager for Gerald Nell Inc., Jim represents private companies, owners and investors in the acquisition, disposition, development and leasing of office, industrial and service center real estate assets. Furthermore, he is specialized in project preleasing, property management and project financing.
As managing partner of Sunset Investment Co., managing member of Westside Investor Group, LLC and Prairie Place, LLC, Jim works with owners on strategic planning including asset management, forecasting income and expenses, developing acquisition and development opportunities and marketing. Jim is a Certified Property Manager and his professional affiliations include CARW, GMAR, NAR, BOMA and IREM.
Brokerage Services for Gerald Nell Inc., Lori is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Wisconsin and has been involved with the administration and management of commercial and industrial property for over 26 years including the processing of all accounts receivable and accounts payable, and producing monthly income and expense reports.
Currently, Lori is responsible for meeting with prospective customers, negotiating lease terms, coordinating all service contracts, and monitoring the overall day-to-day operations of each property managed by Gerald Nell Inc.
Brokerage Services for Gerald Nell, Inc., Alex graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance. He has over 16 years of experience in the commercial real estate field representing local real estate landlords, building owners, and business owners in the leasing and disposition of their real estate.
Alex is a member of the Commercial Association of Realtors, is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Wisconsin, and shares in the responsibility of marketing, leasing, and managing of over 2,500,000 square feet represented by Gerald Nell Inc.
Senior Project Manager for Gerald Nell Inc., Tim holds a degree in Construction Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been with the company since 1993. His most recent projects include a 47,000 square foot addition for King Juice, Milwaukee; a 33,000 square foot office and production facility for Triad Creative Group, Brookfield; a 10,000 square foot office building for Walkowitz, Boczkiewicz & Co., S.C., Waukesha; a 9,000 square foot manufacturing facility for KHS Inc., Brookfield; and a 53,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility for Twinco-Romax, Milwaukee.
Other representative area projects include a 13,000 square foot facility for Stock America, Grafton; The Farwell Shoppes a 4,000 square foot retail center, Milwaukee; a 40,000 square foot multi-tenant facility for Cable Components, Sussex; and a 7,000 square foot auto repair facility for North Avenue Automotive, Milwaukee. Tim has managed numerous additions to industrial facilities: Nohl Corporation, General Plastics, Atlas Copco, Orion Corporation, Desert Aire, Reich Tool and Design and Schaefer Tool. Senior Project Manager for Gerald Nell Inc., After studying business, construction and real estate at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Dave began his career in construction management. As Senior Project Manager, Dave is responsible for all aspects of the projects that he is involved with including budgeting, preliminary design, negotiating all subcontractor and vendor pricing and turnkey construction insuring continual client satisfaction.
Over his 30 year career, Dave has built and managed multi-million dollar financial institutions, office buildings, municipal projects, retail projects, grocery stores, restaurants, and moderate to upscale residential homes. Representative projects include, multiple locations for Town Bank, TCF Bank, Blackhawk Community Credit Union, Kohler Credit Union, Landmark Credit Union, WCCU Credit Union, Walgreen's and Office Max.
Additional projects include Empower Credit Union, Hartford Savings Bank, Pick 'N Save, Tumbleweed Restaurant, completion of the Niagara Village Hall, assisting with the completion of the Mukwonago Fire Station and several custom built homes. Total construction in place is over $100 million.
Dave is currently responsible for building numerous Kwik Trip convenience stores all over southeastern Wisconsin
Project Manager for Gerald Nell Inc., Aaron began his career in the construction industry in 2004. During this time, he has diligently completed roofing and remodeling projects for 7 years, and the past 5 years as a Project Manager. His knowledge and experience of the industry was primarily gained through hands-on field experience and has recently joined the Gerald Nell team providing tenant build-out and remodeling services for numerous customers. Aaron has successfully managed and completed residential, commercial, educational, and historical restorations. He has also completed Project Management courses at MSOE and Business Management at Carroll University. Aaron has recently completed office buildouts for Jannsen Wealth Management, Wegner CPA's, Superior Pools Inc. and Neo-Coil all located in Pewaukee.
LEED AP Certified Architect for Gerald Nell Inc., Mark has over 30 years of architectural experience, holds a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Illinois (Urbana) and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin (Milwaukee).
Prior to joining Gerald Nell Inc., Mark operated his own design firm, worked as a project architect for Wm. Wenzler Associates, KM Development and Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer and Associates. Representative projects for Gerald Nell Inc. include the Jannsen Office Center; Woodgate Center and Waterside Center, Pewaukee; Commercial Communications Inc., Hartland and the Becker Ritter Funeral Home, Brookfield.
Mechanical Division Manager for Gerald Nell Inc., Mark is a licensed Designer of Engineering Systems and a master plumber licensed in the State of Wisconsin. Mark has over 25 years of "hands-on" experience in a wide variety of commercial and industrial plumbing and H.V.A.C. projects. His responsibilities include supervision of plumbing and H.V.A.C. operations, system design, project estimating and customer service.
Representative projects include the HellermannTyton injection molding addition, Milwaukee; a new brush manufacturing facility for EZ Paintr, St. Francis; Grasch Foods, Brookfield; Athea Laboratories, Inc. production facility, Milwaukee; plant remodeling for Capitol Stampings, Milwaukee; LifeTime Credit Union, West Allis; and Desert Aire Corporation, Germantown.
Electrical Division Manager, Jeff began his career with Gerald Nell Inc. in 1981, when Nell acquired Buge Electric and pioneered the design/build concept. As a journeyman master electrician, Jeff has supervised a large number of commercial and industrial projects, schools, retail stores, churches and health care facilities.
Having joined the office staff in 2002 as electrical division manager, Jeff's job duties include lighting and power distribution systems design for buildings and machinery, project estimating and jobsite supervision of all electrical work. Representative projects include Brookfield Academy, the Prairie Place office complex, Waukesha All Temp, Kwik Trip stores, and the clubhouse at the Legend at Brandybrook golf course.
Administrative Assistant of the Construction Division for Gerald Nell Inc. Her responsibilities include all aspects of Accounts Payable, vendor communication, and managing the company’s multi-line phone system. She also administrates subcontractor insurance and lien waiver information, as well as providing assistance to the managers as needed.
Administrative Assistant of the Real Estate Division for Gerald Nell Inc., Gail's responsibilities include updating property management reports and files and daily processing of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for all of the properties managed by Gerald Nell Inc. Gail is the personal executive assistant for Jim Glynn, Lori Choinski and Alex Kasun.
Administrative Assistant of the Construction Division for Gerald Nell Inc. She is responsible for processing payroll, contract administration, preparing monthly draw requests, and processing Accounts Receivable invoices. She is also responsible for the flow of paperwork throughout the entire office, acts as a backup for the other office staff, and provides assistance to the managers as needed.
Controller for Gerald Nell Inc. His responsibilities include processing monthly financial statements and detailed job reports, as well as overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and functioning as both Office Manager and Human Resources Manager.
Facilities Management for Gerald Nell Inc., Chad joined the staff in 2015. He is responsible for the day to day maintenance of all properties managed by Gerald Nell. This includes directing landscape maintenance work, responding to tenant needs, performing miscellaneous maintenance and repairs, and working closely with Gerald Nell's in-house construction trades to coordinate service work and repairs.
Mike brings over 20 years of senior level experience in a variety of commercial and retail industries including automotive, finance and banking, real estate and construction. Mike's expertise is developing and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with both existing and new clients by establishing a strong communication rapport in the early phases of budgeting, pre-planning and project development. Mike strives to exceed our client's business goals and facility needs in conjunction with mitigating risk and maximizing the clients return on investment.
